[Fuji Enamel - Features of Enamelware]
Iron and glass. Enamelware combines the best of both materials.
? Enamelware is compatible with all heat sources
As enamelware is made of iron, it heats efficiently on gas stoves and IH cooktops. The enamel glaze is fired at high temperatures of 800-850°C. Its excellent heat resistance allows it to be used directly in ovens.
? Enamelware offers excellent durability and heat retention
Enamelware is made of hard and durable iron with a glossy glass glaze. This makes it robust, and the surface color will not fade over time. It also retains heat well once warmed, making it ideal for simmering dishes.
? Enamelware preserves the flavor of ingredients and is easy to clean
The glass-like surface does not release metal ions, so it does not react chemically with food. It prevents bacterial growth and is hygienic. The smooth, glass-like surface allows dirt to be easily removed with water or mild detergent, maintaining cleanliness.
? Enamelware is resistant to acids and salt, and does not retain odors
The glass-like surface of enamelware prevents odors from transferring. It is also resistant to acids and salt, making it suitable for storing umeboshi (pickled plums), pickles, and marinades, as well as for cooking jams and tomato dishes.
* The color may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting conditions and computer settings.
* Before first use, wash thoroughly with dish soap and a sponge, then rinse.
* As enamelware has a glass-like surface, avoid dropping or striking it.
* Do not use metal scrubbers or scouring powders as they may scratch the surface.
* When pouring oil from the pot, hold the rim and lid firmly.
* To prevent rust, wash thoroughly and dry after use.
