Taishu Gekijo (Popular Theater) Matatabi Wig - Kousai (Sideburns) - Mushiri (Plucked)

This is what is called kosai mushiri.
It's attached to the wigs of toseinin (traveling gamblers/peddlers), and represents the sakayaki (shaved part of the head) that has grown out.
It's a great item, as wearing it makes you a toseinin, and removing it makes you a townsperson.
It's used for roles representing ronin (masterless samurai), gamblers, and other outlaws.
The size is unknown.
I took a picture with A4 size paper underneath for reference.
The color is black.
