An essential item for stag beetle collecting.

This tool is used to pry out stag beetles hiding between the tree trunk and bark.

Handmade item.

I've been catching many strong stag beetles with this item for about 20 years.

The excellent point of this item is its sharp tip, which grips well and pulls out beetles from crevices and holes.
