◆We also have Japanese Evergreen Oak logs, Sawtooth Oak logs, natural mushroom logs, and buried mushroom logs available, so please take a look if you are interested.
◆Please read the following precautions carefully before purchasing!
■These are high-quality, nutritious mini logs of Sawtooth Oak (Konara) and Japanese Evergreen Oak (Kunugi) for stag beetle egg-laying setups.
■The two thicker logs in the front are Sawtooth Oak, and the remaining three are Japanese Evergreen Oak.
■While mini cut logs around 10cm are not commonly seen, they are very convenient and useful!
◆As shown in the product images, there may be slight variations, but these Sawtooth Oak & Japanese Evergreen Oak logs are light and high-quality with few knots or core rot, so we expect them to increase egg-laying success!
◆They have been dried and aged for approximately 3 years or more since being harvested from the mountains!
▼As shown in images 1-4, the wood is soft enough for a toothpick to be inserted easily, even in the center of the logs!
However, please understand that it is impossible to inspect the contents of each log completely.
▼Images 1 and 3, and 2 and 4 show the front and top/bottom cut surfaces, with the logs flipped upside down.
◆Because they are short cuts, they are convenient for situations with limited space, for QBOX setups, or for setups with small species or in small containers!
■Length: Approximately 10.0cm
■Diameter: Approximately 9.5cm ~ 6.5cm
(Maximum diameter ~ Minimum diameter among the 5 logs)
■Sawtooth Oak (Konara) & Japanese Evergreen Oak (Kunugi) MIX
