Please inquire in the questions section.
This spent mushroom substrate block is made from 100% fresh sawtooth oak sawdust, which is highly favored by stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles, and is packed with nutrients.
As shown in the image, mycelium has permeated the block.
It is excellent as food for stag beetle larvae, for egg-laying, and for supplementing the nutrition of rhinoceros beetle larvae.
When raising rhinoceros beetle larvae, simply burying these blocks in fermented substrate will significantly increase their size.
When buried in substrate, rhinoceros beetle larvae will burrow into the blocks and eat voraciously.
It also serves as food for the larvae of stag beetles such as giant stag beetles, flat-backed beetles, rainbow stag beetles, and giraffe stag beetles.
When used instead of egg-laying logs, females will burrow in and lay eggs.
It is easier to extract larvae than from logs, and you can obtain a larger number of larvae!
It is also suitable as a raw material for creating your own original fermented substrate by loosening the block.
*The image is of one of the items from our stock.
Please only purchase if you understand that some blocks may be slightly broken or have different shapes.
We also have other items for sale, including fermented substrate that promotes larval growth, stag beetle substrate, coniferous substrate ideal for adult beetle management, perches for adult beetle breeding and display, and high-grade professional jelly. Please check our other listings.
Separate shipping fees apply for Okinawa and remote islands.
