Kabutomushi Beetle Mat 118: Fermented & Aged Bamboo - For Adult, Egg-Laying, and Larva Rearing: 25L
Product Description
[Product Features]
- Rhinoceros Beetle Substrate: Fermented and Aged Bamboo: 25L
- Made from domestically grown Moso bamboo, providing over 20 types of amino acids through fermentation and aging.
- The bamboo undergoes fermentation and aging with natto bacteria, yeast, lactic acid bacteria (containing over 100 types of enzymes and 9 essential amino acids), and 100 types of minerals.
- Does not use dead bamboo.
[Effects]
- Bamboo is a porous material, making it excellent for odor absorption and microbial colonization.
- The added minerals help suppress pests like fungus gnats (popular for its low odor, even indoors).
- We have received feedback that it is more readily consumed and promotes better appetite compared to wood-based rhinoceros beetle substrates.
[Domestic Rhinoceros Beetles]
- Large individuals over 85mm have hatched this year as well.
- Some individuals weigh 40g as of September (over 70 successful egg-laying instances).
[Exotic Species]
- Hercules Beetle (over 50 successful egg-laying instances)
- Dynastes neptunus
- Dynastes satanas
- Chalcosoma atlas
- Chalcosoma moellenkampi, etc., for breeding and raising.
[Stag Beetles]
- Successful breeding of Dorcus hopei binodulosus over 81mm.
- Successful breeding of Phalacrognathus muelleri (70 individuals).
- Can also be used for raising adult and larval stage, and egg-laying for species such as Prosopocoilus inclinatus and Dorcus titanus.
[How to Use]
- Since it is dry, please add moisture to an appropriate level before use.
- When it becomes dry, rehydrate with a spray bottle or similar.
- Replace the substrate when it becomes dirty.
