Made from naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, etc. The top is constructed with plywood featuring slits, allowing for the placement of a moth trap, Acarapis woodi mite control, and a winter feed box. To prevent comb collapse, 8 metal rods are included. Usage instructions are detailed in the accompanying letter along with tips for attracting bees.
