The top surface is polished to a high sheen, with all four corners R-cut. The top and bottom edges are chamfered to prevent injury.
The back is equipped with four cork sheets to prevent scratches and provide anti-slip properties, as shown in the third image.
Natural marble has high thermal conductivity and low specific heat capacity, making it cool to the touch. This helps to suppress the temperature rise of dough, preventing it from becoming sticky. It is very useful for kneading dough for pizza, bread, pies, and pastries, as well as for chocolate confectionery.

Thanks to this board, it's been a great success as both a bread kneading board and a work surface. The attached images (8th and 9th) show me making bread dough and stollen.
