Ms. Murasaki*kai Pre-war/Wartime Student Bag Canvas From Old Japanese House Shoulder Bag

This is a canvas bag for students, believed to be from the pre-war to mid-war period.

It was found during the organization of an old private house in a rural area and is an item that was stored after many years of use.

The material is a very thick and sturdy canvas.
A mix of hand-stitching and rough machine work can be seen, demonstrating a simple yet robust construction typical of practical items from that era.

Due to age, there are:
- Overall discoloration
- Stains and dirt
- Rust on metal fittings
- Dryness of the leather strap

However, these are expressions of the results of over 80 years of time and possess an atmosphere that cannot be replicated by modern products.

The following maintenance has been performed for this listing:
- Washed in a coin laundry
- Polished rusted metal fittings and adjusted them to a movable state
