This is a manual check writer.
It is used to imprint amounts on checks, bills, etc. It is easy to use.
Simply set the amount, insert the paper, and pull the lever towards you. (This will punch holes.)
As this is an old item, there are signs of rust, dirt, and scratches on the surface.
It is quite heavy.
It could be used as a children's toy, or perhaps as a retro display item from the Showa era.
