This gauze blanket is brought to you by Romance Kosugi, a long-established bedding manufacturer founded in Kyoto in 1946. It is crafted with the combined skills of Japanese artisans from Mikawa (Aichi Prefecture), Wakayama, and Izumiotsu (Osaka Prefecture).
The fabric is Mikawa Fukure-Ori, woven using a special technique by artisans in the traditional textile production area of Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture.
Special polyester threads, which shrink when heated, are woven together with cotton.
Using the masterful techniques of heat treatment artisans in Wakayama Prefecture, we have created a texture with raised and lowered areas that allow air to pass through the fabric.
The sewing is done in Izumiotsu, Osaka Prefecture.
It retains the softness of gauze that increases with use, while offering a smooth, dry feel, a gentle fit to the body, and a pleasant volume.
Also effective for preventing chills from air conditioning.
The exquisite combination of an elegant hemp leaf pattern motif and refreshing colors creates a product that offers a sense of coolness visually as well.
It is machine washable at home for easy care (use a laundry net).
