There are minor scratches and signs of use such as slight indentations, but no noticeable damage. I believe they are in clean condition.
Ryukyu Tatami

Made from machine-made Japanese paper twisted into cords and coated with resin. Compared to igusa (rush grass), there is less concern about mold, less fading, and easy maintenance. Daiken Sunyaka Omote is all domestically produced with peace of mind.
All Daiken Sunyaka Omote products are antibacterial.

■ Abrasion Resistance Test

After 100 rotations with #180 sandpaper and a 250g x 2 load.
* Some dark colored products may appear lighter due to abrasion compared to other colors depending on usage conditions.
For households with small children or pets, concerns about tatami damage from scratches and friction are common. Sunyaka Omote offers approximately 3 times the durability compared to regular igusa tatami.

■ Mold Resistance Test

Mold cultured for 28 days under conditions of 28°C and 97% humidity.
Since it is made of machine-made Japanese paper, there is very little mold growth.

■ Colorfastness Test

When rearranging chests of drawers or furniture, tatami discoloration is a concern. Sunyaka Omote maintains its beauty with almost no discoloration or fading even after rigorous experiments involving prolonged UV irradiation.

Excellent water repellency for easy cleaning.

With its resin coating, Sunyaka Omote has excellent water repellency, and spills can be wiped clean.
