This season's new BowWow VIETNAM Jacket, vintage Sukajan style

This is the bowwow VIETNAM jacket (Viet-Jan), which was released the other day and sold out on the first day.

This piece is a reconstruction inspired by the so-called Viet-Jan, which US soldiers serving in the Vietnam War ordered as souvenirs in the late 1960s to early 1970s. The Viet-Jan was not an official US military issue item, but was custom-made by local tailors as a personal item, with embroidery that captures memories of affiliation, places, and the emotions of the time. It was worn not so much during combat as during off-duty hours on base, when going out, or upon returning home, and was cherished as a symbol of defiance after its service. BOW WOW, following this history, has elevated the product by adding expressions of aging as a well-worn souvenir jacket imbued with culture and emotion.
The texture and color of the fabric, and especially the embroidery design, are superb.
It also features vintage processing, giving it an exquisite atmosphere.
