Half-length undergarment and skirt for kimono

I'm helping my mother clean out her house.
This item has been stored in a closet for many years.
It's new and unused, but the white fabric appears to be yellowed.
There are also fold marks and the smell of mothballs.
I don't know how to wash it, so I'm listing it as is.
I would appreciate it if someone who understands the condition could use it for practice or for repurposing.
