Mashiko Ware is known for its thick, plump, and warm texture due to the use of unadulterated clay.
It pairs well with glazes, allowing you to enjoy different colors depending on the type, such as persimmon glaze (kaki-yu) and celadon glaze (seiji-yu). The pale blue color shown in the image is one such example.

Although it may have originally been intended for tableware, it has been used outdoors as a saucer and therefore has some damage. Please be aware of this in advance.
