Lacquer Inlay Napkin Ring - Also usable as a chopstick rest

This item was purchased overseas quite some time ago. It is unclear whether the coating is lacquer or cashew. Both the ring and the box feature inlay work. The slightly different patterns suggest the craftsmanship of an artisan rather than mass production. The ring fits perfectly inside the box.
