Chestnut (Mountain Chestnut) Stand, Flower Stand NO. 804, Badoning, Flower Rest, Rough Surface

US Size:

Chestnut (Mountain Chestnut) Stand / Flower Stand - Surface has a rough texture.
This item is too thin to be used as a firewood splitting block and lacks strength.
It has a substantial feel with the bark on, and is beautiful with the bark removed. Its uses are up to the individual.
[Our Commitment]
- Since no petroleum-based oils such as chainsaw oil, preservatives, or insecticides are used, it can also be used as a cutting board.
- Items are stored indoors after completion, but as a precaution, they are heat-treated at high temperatures for approximately 1 hour before shipping to eliminate insects, and a safe oil wax (secretly edible) is reapplied to both sides.
- We use a horizontal laser for precise, level cuts. Any warping during the drying process is adjusted through planing and polishing.
- We utilize a smoke and heat drying system (smoked processing).
- We have developed a unique method to prevent cracking, making it highly resistant to splitting. Furthermore, it is safe as no petroleum waxes are used.

※Important Notice
As a former carpenter and lumber dealer, I must inform you:
Many firewood splitting blocks with beautiful cross-sections will crack within days.
Unseasoned wood has the weakest strength and is a cause of mold.
Drying and cracking are inevitable with natural wood. However, we strive to create firewood splitting blocks with minimal cracking through careful drying. It takes 2-3 years to bring these to market, with over half being discarded due to cracking (used as firewood).
[Please Read Carefully]
To prevent issues after receiving your order, please read the following description carefully.
- Size, shape, and cracking status are as shown in the photos.
- If you desire bark handles or paracord grips, please message us before purchasing.
We will gladly answer any questions about firewood splitting blocks or wood.
[Hardness Ranking]
Oak → Chestnut, Zelkova → → Cherry
[Production Process]
All handmade (2-3 years)
Fallen tree → Leaf drying (1-2 years) → Cross-cutting → Water drying → Boiling → Shaping → Smoke and heat drying → (Washing & Polishing) → Drying & Inspection (Our firewood splitting blocks are measured for moisture content with a high-precision moisture meter)
We borrow a smoke and heat drying kiln from a lumber dealer acquaintance, so we cannot produce in large quantities. Imagine the process of making katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) or how the smoke and heat from the hearth in old thatched-roof houses strengthened the pillars.
