[Good fortune comes to laughing bamboo]
It is said that good fortune comes to those who laugh, and the character for laugh (笑) contains the character for bamboo (竹). When the bamboo nodes are cut diagonally, they resemble a smiling face.
These are auspicious laughing bamboos that will welcome the Toshigami (New Year's deity) with a smile.

The bamboo has been washed and dried, but as it is a natural product, there may be scratches and dirt. Thank you for your understanding.
As this is natural bamboo, the color of each stalk will vary.
Please also be careful of splinters on the cut surfaces.
