The fork spacing of the adjustable spanner wrench can be continuously adjusted from 3.0 mm to 73.4 mm. It is designed to precisely fit the SM series retaining rings, including the fixed ring SM3RR, which corresponds to lens tubes and mounts with diameters of ?75 mm to ?76.2 mm (?3 inches). The center position of the diameter span by the blades does not change during adjustment with the knurled knob.

One end of the reversible blade has a flat tip for retaining rings, and the other end has a pointed tip for use with adapters and holes. The blades extend 40.7 mm from the wrench body, preventing damage to short focal length lenses (lenses with large curvature) that can be caused by the guide flange of our standard spanner wrenches. A 1.3 mm ball (hex) driver or hex wrench is required to change the orientation of the blades. Replacement blades are also available separately.

The maximum torque that this wrench SPW801 can handle is 9 N·m.
