The outer fabric is a double cloth made of silk and cotton, woven with ultra-high density. A special dyeing technique is used to create a fabric with a subdued luster and a soft texture with reduced stiffness. The lining is a double-weave satin with rayon warp threads and wool weft threads. The back is brushed to provide a soft volume and warmth.

The design is a reconstruction based on the USAF L2-B jacket. While maintaining the balance of the original, the shoulders are given a natural slope, and the sleeves are adjusted to a natural shoulder with an arrangement to improve ease of wear. The epaulets have been removed and an inner pocket has been added to enhance its practicality as outerwear. The short length has been retained, while the body width has been given a slight room for a comfortable balance.

The accessories include Asahi zippers, with baby calf leather tabs on the pulls. Details such as the oxygen tabs made of thick, custom-made nylon herringbone tape and compact yarn ribs demonstrate a strong commitment to the specifications.

In terms of processing, the aging of nylon over half a century is expressed by artisans, one piece at a time, utilizing the characteristics of silk. By artfully layering stains and color changes, depth is added, resulting in a highly atmospheric garment. It blends well with monochrome styles unified in black, and is also recommended for outfits that leverage subtle color differences, such as when paired with black denim. Furthermore, it pairs exceptionally well with wide-leg trousers, whose clean length complements the top.
