【LONDON FOG】Rare USA Made 70s Thinsulate Lined Trench Coat

This is a trench coat/spring coat from the long-established coat brand LONDON FOG, founded in 1923. They gained explosive popularity for their raincoats, which were developed in partnership with DuPont and originally made for the U.S. Navy.

This is a 70s item, identifiable by its Platinum Tag.

The lining is filled with Thinsulate, a high-performance insulation material developed by 3M and also used in military applications.
The zipper is also an IDEAL brand, adding to the vintage details.

The maxi length, raglan sleeves, and chin strap make for a versatile design.
The shell is made of a water-repellent blended fabric.
