This is a Koinobori (carp streamer) ornament for Tango no Sekku (Children's Day).
Made with pure silk kimono fabric and filled with cotton to create a large carp and a scarlet carp. It includes three Koinobori, a pinwheel, a child wearing a helmet, and a separate helmet.
