A "Bird Feeder for Small Wild Birds" made with cypress bark roofing.
Size (approx.): Height 20cm, Width 20cm, Depth 25cm. Pure Japanese style, gable roof.
This is a bird feeder with a roof made of real cedar bark. The shape was created with my preference for pure Japanese style in mind. The materials used are rough-sawn cedar and madake bamboo, which blend into nature. The roof is thatched with real cedar bark and secured tightly with copper wire, making it durable against wind and rain. This bird feeder is designed for small wild birds, so the large overhang of the roof makes it difficult for larger birds to perch. Every morning, I wake up to the chirping of wild birds demanding their food.
