For Aditya-sama! Trivet? Teapot stand? Elegant silver and black checkered pattern! Traditional Japanese pattern!!
This is something I purchased a long time ago.
I bought it the moment I saw it because I loved it!
I've always liked traditional Japanese patterns, but among them, I especially loved the clean, crisp feel of this checkered pattern.
I liked the combination of red and green, and also the luxurious and vibrant gold and silver, and I felt it could be interpreted in a Western style, which seems universal.
I was looking for something good to place under my teapot, as placing it directly on a glass table or lacquered desk seemed like it might cause problems, and this is what immediately struck me.
It feels a bit sophisticated, but I think it can also be used as a pot stand.
I intended to buy it right away, but I had unnecessary worries like What if the lacquer peels off... (lol), so I ended up buying two, including a spare!
As expected, I forgot to put one away... lol
And so, it makes its appearance this time!
Size: Approximately 13 x 13 x 1 cm
