It does not circulate water at night.

You can place it on top of a 40-liter trough or tub that you already own.
It is designed to pump water from the lower level and let it fall down.
[The pipe for pumping water up has not been installed yet to avoid obstruction during storage, but a hole will be made in the center.]
For those already keeping fish in a 40-liter trough, why not try using this as a lid? If birds or animals approach, your fish will be able to hide underneath the trough it's placed on.
