Storm glasses were tools used in 19th-century Europe to predict the weather during voyages. A mixture of camphor, ethanol, potassium nitrate, and ammonium chloride was placed in a transparent glass container, and the weather was predicted by observing the crystals that formed. The charm of storm glasses lies in the beauty of the crystals created by the mixture.

I displayed it as an interior decoration in my entryway for about 4 months, but I no longer use it, so I am now listing it for sale.

There are no instructions or box (only the main unit).

While there is some age-related deterioration, the condition is generally good.
