This jacket is an authentic piece designed to blend seamlessly into modern everyday wear, transcending generations, tastes, and styles, created by LEE, one of the world's top three denim brands, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their iconic models, the 101B and 101 COWBOY JACKET. It is based on the 1940s wartime models, using domestically produced right-hand twill denim.
Unlike the flat pattern and fitting of regular LEE jackets, this design features a more three-dimensional, two-sleeve construction without dropping the shoulder width. This pursuit of an outline and size balance allows for a comfortable fit with room to spare while maintaining a sharp appearance on various body types. Distinct from inline and vintage models, the jacket features characteristic curved hemline and length. The collar is relatively small, and the back yoke is secured without looseness to minimize bulk. Reflecting the wartime motif, the cinch back has been removed, the three-needle stitching has been eliminated, and the pockets have been simplified, all contributing to a modern overall look. Additionally, by increasing the number of buttons by one compared to existing LEE jacket standards, the styling options and cohesion are enhanced. The faded indigo color features moderate reduction bleaching, giving it a relatively familiar feel with a subtle processed look. The indigo color has been washed once during production. The faded indigo uses navy stitching instead of faded yellow stitching, preventing it from looking too much like an American cowboy style.
