For puppies in their teething phase and Japanese male dogs with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker size that they can just barely grip will allow them to enjoy it for a longer time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as they are from fruit trees.

These are made from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture, individually peeled and dried for 2 years.

As these are amateur handmade items, while we cut them with a chainsaw and sand the small branches with a belt sander (file), please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As they are made of wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth, but please allow your dog to play within your sight.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit tree allergies.
