For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.
Since we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, many customers have given us positive feedback that the hardness and chewability are different from other products!

Recommended for puppies, as a solution for puppy nipping, to prevent mischief, chewing on shoes and clothes, and for those worried about their dog destroying their home.
Also recommended for those whose belongings are constantly being destroyed.

If the size is correct, it will last for over a month!
While other commercially available branches also last about a month, puppies and Japanese dogs with strong chewing power can enjoy these for longer if the thickness is just right to hold onto.
Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed as it is fruit tree wood.
These are made from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture, individually peeled and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade products, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file). However, please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring the inside of the mouth. However, please ensure that your pet plays under your supervision.
Please refrain from use if your pet has fruit tree allergies.
We do not accept returns for any use other than as a chew toy.
