Even for cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel the bark to create these toys.

Since we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, many customers have kindly told us that the hardness and chewability are different from other products ?

For those who want to try both, this is a set of two: a pear wood branch and a zelkova wood branch.

Left: Zelkova, approx. 12.3 x 1.8-1.9 cm
Approx. 2.0 cm including small branches
Right: Pear, approx. 14.8 x 1.9-2.3 cm

Please note that these are amateur measurements and may have errors.

Please compare the size with your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in the nipping stage, Japanese male dogs, and active breeds, a thickness that they can barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a longer time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark is peeled off one by one from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (sandpaper), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.

Since it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth, but please let them play within your sight.

Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit allergies.
