We've made a set of two, one Japanese pear branch and one zelkova branch, for those who want to try both.
Left: Zelkova, approx. 10.1 x 2.6-2.7 cm
Right: Japanese Pear, approx. 15.9 x 2.1-2.7 cm
Please note that these are amateur measurements, so there may be errors.
Please compare the size with your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in their teething phase, Japanese male dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker branch that they can hold in their mouth will allow them to enjoy it for longer.
Japanese pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
These branches are from Niigata Prefecture, and the bark has been peeled off one by one and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are shaved with a belt sander (sanding paper). However, please understand that there may be missed spots, or cracks and splits due to excessive drying.
As they are made of wood, they will not damage your dog's teeth. If you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth, but please supervise your dog while they play.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit allergies.
We do not accept returns for any use other than as a chew toy.
