Price Change Modern Buddhist Altar Iris Yagi Ken Mini Buddhist Altar Modern Buddhist Altar
Modern Buddhist Altar Iris by Yagi Ken - Mini Altar, Modern Altar
Manufacturer: Yagi Ken
Product Name: Modern Buddhist Altar Iris
Dimensions:
Width: Approx. 50 cm
Depth: Approx. 36 cm
Height: Approx. 75 cm
Purchased around 2005 at a Buddhist altar store. I recall it costing around 300,000 yen at the time.
The materials are reportedly Elm and Ash.
The doors are bi-fold and meet in the center.
Inside, it features a back panel, two tiers of removable shelves (Shumidan), a pull-out shelf (Zenbiki), a drawer, and lighting.
The lighting is turned on and off with a switch located on the upper side.
The bulb has been replaced with a new one for this listing. It is currently functioning properly.
However, please note that the adapter connection can sometimes be loose, which may have caused the light to not turn on occasionally.
Other included accessories are: instruction manuals (2), a lighting adapter, and a spare bulb.
There are no major scratches or noticeable stains on the exterior. There is a scratch near the center of the lower Shumidan, likely from placing Buddhist implements.
I purchased this altar to place in my apartment living room. I chose Yagi Ken's Modern Buddhist Altar for its design that blends seamlessly into a living space, its luxurious color and material that complement other furniture, and its durable construction for long-term use.
I am now listing it as I am renovating and re-evaluating my Buddhist altar, hoping someone else can use it.
Shipping will be via either RakuRaku or YuuYuu Mercari便, chosen after packing.
The Shumidan and other parts will be removed, wrapped in bubble wrap, and secured with cushioning material to prevent movement. The drawer and Zenbiki will have cushioning material placed between the doors to keep them from moving.
This is a used item, so please consider this before making a purchase.
