Leica I Mod. C Type A Modified

This is a Leica Type C. This unit was originally a Type A and was upgraded to a Type C through a genuine manufacturer modification at the time. I am selling it due to downsizing my equipment. It has been stored in a dry cabinet.

There are scuffs characteristic of black paint and brass showing through. In addition, the vulcanite shows cracks and chips due to age.

The viewfinder has been custom modified for the 35mm lenses that were common at the time (Elmar, Summaron). There are a few chips in the corners, so please judge the details from the images.

The shutter speeds also change according to each speed. The shutter curtain is in good condition, appearing to have been recently overhauled.
