USA Vintage Cummerbund and Bow Tie Set - Red Checkered Pattern

This is a set of vintage cummerbund and bow tie made in the USA.
The material appears to be cotton or wool, with a lining that feels like polyester or cupro.
The bow tie is a one-touch type where the ribbon part is flipped up and attached to the collar.
As it is an old item, the box is in poor condition, but the main items are very clean. (There is some rust on the metal fittings.)
