This is a long swab specifically designed for the YAMAHA long rod with a wing, allowing you to absorb moisture from inside the flute without disassembling it. (Rod sold separately)

Made with gauze, which has the highest absorbency among fabrics.

It is designed like a bag, so you can put two disassembled rods together in the bag when storing them.

No need to wrap the cloth, so you can easily remove moisture between performances.

Made with Japanese gauze, it is not only absorbent but also quick-drying, making it ideal for removing moisture from flute tubes. (^^)

⁂ Swab Features ⁂

1. The tip of the swab is designed with extra slack to reach deep into the headjoint.

2. The opening of the swab is intentionally widened for easy insertion of the rod.

3. Comes with a suede cord
It can be hung on a music stand to dry.

4. If the YAMAHA wing part gets dirty and you can't wash it, this swab can be removed and washed.
(Please hand wash)

⁂ How to Use ⁂

1. Insert the YAMAHA long rod with wing into the swab.

2. Insert it into the assembled flute tube and rotate the rod to absorb moisture by following the tube. (Soaking in water will improve absorbency)

♪ If you leave the swab inserted while playing, it will produce no sound, making it great for finger dexterity practice! ⭕️
