【Purchase Price ¥1.6 Million】Victor Victrolon NS-7 Victor
This instrument is approximately 38 years old since its purchase, so please understand that it is an old musical instrument.
However, it produces a beautiful sound, unchanged from when it was new.
As it is a full bass model, it has a rich and deep sound.
It also maintains rhythm accurately.
A memory pack is included.
It offers a wide variety of tones.
The left foot switch appears to be non-functional, but you can start it using the switches on the unit.
(Please forgive any other undiscovered defects.)
I believe it cost around 1.6 million yen at the time.
This item is also listed on other sites, so please notify me in the comments before purchasing.
Caution ⚠️
This item is located on the second floor, so pick-up is limited to those who can come and collect it.
For an additional 5,000 yen, I can deliver it within Hiroshima Prefecture.
Speakers and amplifiers are not included.
As this is a large item, please strictly adhere to No Claims/No Returns (NC/NR).
From the manufacturer's website:
In 1985 (Showa 60), JVC (Victor) released the System Victron NS-7 series. This was a revolutionary instrument that allowed players to freely combine units according to their technique and sensibility.
With its 5-Section Multi-Programmable Synth System, which digitally controlled five synthesizer sound sources, it offered an infinite range of tones, from natural and beautiful sounds to pop electric tones.
The rhythm section was equipped with PCM stereo rhythm. It featured digitally recorded live drum sounds recorded at Victor Aoyama Studio.
Furthermore, the adoption of a memory pack allowed for one-button operation of organ functions, and for the first time in the Victron series, it incorporated MIDI functionality, enabling connection with other MIDI instruments.
The design philosophy of upgradability, where parts could be changed, was adopted in Yamaha's STAGEA, released in March 2004 (Heisei 16), making it an ambitious model. However, JVC ceased production of electronic organs in 1991 (Heisei 3), with the NS-7 being their last.
