This is a set featuring an original rod specifically designed for pool trout, based on a 3-piece fiberglass rod with a solid glass tip, and a 07 Luvias 1003 reel.

The blank is approximately 120cm (just under 3ft) in total length.
It features 10 T2 titanium frame Torzite guides in a micro-setting.
Initially intended for PE 0.2, the setting was slightly adjusted as nylon 1lb also performed exceptionally well.
This rod is designed for serious fun with regular-sized pool trout in smaller venues like Seibuen and Shirakoba.
Spoons weighing around 0.8-1.5g are easy to use, and it can handle up to approximately 2.2g.
Enter overfishing mode with the Onigake glass tip.
The reel has been decorated with Hitotoki Works and Matagi metal parts to achieve a perfect flush fit when the reel is attached.

The reel is a 07 Luvias 1003, already a rare model.
It has been thoroughly customized, taking advantage of the characteristics of the early RCS.
While there should be no grittiness, the clutch tension has been reduced to the limit, resulting in a slight tick sound when starting to reel.
Considering its age, the exterior is in remarkably good condition.
The drag washers are new, as the rod is designed for use with ultra-thin lines.
It comes with 100m of new 1lb nylon line spooled.

A friend who enjoys stream fishing mentioned wanting to use floating chip minnows, so depending on the location, it might also be suitable for native species.
It is flexible but not overly soft.
