Tuned Taiko Gong High Octave G# (Ab') Used

Tuned Taiko Gong
High Octave G#' (Ab') Used

Purchased new from a percussion specialty store in Tokyo.
Although it is a used item, I believe its condition is largely unchanged from when it was purchased new.

It was played with felt-wrapped, yarn-wrapped, and cotton-thread-wrapped mallets. Hard mallets made of metal or plastic were not used.

For reference, I have included an image taken with a tuner.
As is characteristic of the instrument, it contains many complex overtones, and the pitch is not as precise as that of a keyboard instrument.
To the ear, it sounds close to the intended pitch.
