For Manyo-sama: Handmade Nepalese Full Moon Singing Bowl 31cm G2 D4
Tibetan Singing Bowl
Full Moon Bowl 31cm
A Full Moon Bowl forged solely by moonlight on a Mangetsu night.
This is a large bowl, over 30cm in diameter, producing a deep sound that resonates through the body.
When struck with a mallet, it produces a deep sound of 97Hz (G), which travels through the floor and delivers a pleasant vibration to everyone in the room.
When played with a stick, various overtones sound simultaneously. It also produces the Solfeggio frequency of 963Hz.
Purchased from TARA HARMONY a few years ago.
The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is inscribed in Sanskrit on the sides, and it is said that the artisan chants the mantra while forging the bowl.
I am letting this go because I have acquired new singing bowls that are tuned to two 30cm bowls, and I no longer have space to store them.
As this is a large bowl, it is sufficient on its own for meditation and healing.
However, it is difficult to play by rubbing the rim (rimming). It produces beautiful, deep sounds when struck (hitting), and as it is not an extremely heavy bowl, it is a size that can be placed on the head and played.
Diameter: Approx. 31cm
Height: Approx. 13cm
Sound: D4 - Sacral Chakra, Femininity, Creativity
G2 - Throat Chakra, Expression, Manifestation, Grounding
Added sound information. Other overtones, including higher frequencies, can be measured, but these two are the main ones.
The creativity of D and the expressiveness of G are related overtones. I feel that as these two chakras are connected along the spine and energy flows, the creation of reality through consciousness occurs smoothly.
Purchase Price: 69,000 yen
Made in Nepal
- Accessories: 1 Mallet, 1 Stick, 1 Cushion
Includes shipping, delivered via Takkyubin or Yu-Pack.
Thank you for looking.
