Thank you for viewing my listing.

Product Description

This is a dogaki (tea-gar) tie made from Mizuhiki cords.
It is very lightweight with minimal bumps, so it won't catch or put a strain on you while playing.
The cord is not included. This listing is for the dogaki tie only.

Mizuhiki is made of paper, so please be careful not to get it wet.
Mizuhiki cords have various meanings associated with their colors, number of strands, and knots, but their usage and interpretation can vary depending on the purpose.
While this piece avoids color combinations typically used for mourning, there may be aspects of the detailed rules that I am not fully aware of.
If you are concerned about the specific meanings of colors, number of strands, or knots, please refrain from purchasing.

★ If you have a specific color or number of strands in mind, please contact me. Depending on availability, I will do my best to accommodate your request.
The knot will generally be made in this form, Aioi Musubi [Shin].

About Mizuhiki and Aioi Musubi:
Mizuhiki symbolizes warding off evil, proof of being unopened, and connecting people (relationships).
Aioi Musubi Shin is a knotting method where two Mizuhiki cords intertwine to form a single loop. It is an auspicious knot that conveys wishes for longevity and marital harmony, symbolizing living together and growing old together.

A one-of-a-kind handmade resin piece. Please enjoy its plump, glossy transparency. *Please understand that due to the handmade nature, there may be individual differences in air bubbles and placement.

Please refer to the photos with dimensions for size information.

This is a handmade item. Those seeking high quality or perfection, or who are sensitive to minor imperfections, should refrain from purchasing.
As it is handmade, slight variations in size and shape may occur.
