Improved to fit in a hard case

The advantage of handmade karakui, compared to the grinder processing of other sanshin shops, is that when tuning (chindami), you can hear the creaking sound of the wood, and the karakui fits snugly into the sanshin. This prevents the tuning from slipping during sanshin performance.

Why not make your sanshin stylish with this opportunity?

Perfect as a gift for women.

In the photo, the karakui is paired with an unfinished rosewood neck, but it also matches sun-chi lacquered necks.

Karakui carving and string holes are standard processed before shipping.

Since the hole diameter varies for each sanshin, if final adjustments to the karakui carving are necessary, you will need to make minor adjustments yourself.
Most sanshin should fit immediately, so it should be fine.

Karakui Size:
Diameter approx. 1.7 cm
Length approx. 11.8 cm

The cow bone uma is a masterpiece that dramatically changes the sound quality compared to regular uma (plastic or bamboo).

This is a rare item even in Okinawa these days, so we recommend purchasing it.

First, let's change to this cow bone uma and enjoy the change in sound quality.

You can change the tone of your sanshin cheaply and easily.

This is a handmade item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive.
