[Product Details]

Engraved Signature: Shimizu

Specifications: 1 shaku 6 sun (approx. 48cm), middle joint (separable), with root (deluxe specification)

Mouthpiece: Buffalo horn (Kinko-ryu style)

Features: This is a middle-jointed pipe with a root, which required considerable effort to create. It has a robust construction typical of the master craftsman Shimizu.

[Product Condition]

Exterior: As this is an antique item, several minor cracks due to age are visible on the bamboo surface (see photos).
These are superficial, barely noticeable to the touch, and do not penetrate to the inside (no light leakage from within the pipe).

Interior: The interior is lacquered with vermilion and is in relatively good condition considering its age.

Middle Joint: The middle joint of Shimizu's pipes fits securely.

*Please note: As I lack expert knowledge in musical performance, I cannot guarantee perfect pitch or the absence of air leaks. Please purchase only if you understand that this is an antique item sold as-is or intended for maintenance.
