Stone Flute 67 Miharu: A rare stone flute with easy-to-play holes, featuring shells and stones embedded within.

What is Ishibue (Stone Flute)? [Japan's Oldest Flute] A flute made of stone that has existed in Japan since ancient times, possibly the Jomon period or even earlier. It is a completely natural instrument created by the NIO shell, a type of bivalve, not artificially made.
It produces a mystical sound with high frequencies.
Although it can be artificially made, the most pure are those created by great nature. That is why they call upon the gods. (From Ishibue player: Mr. Yokosawa)

This is a rare stone with a hole drilled by a shell for its habitat.
It is a naturally formed, genuine stone flute.
Stones that are beautifully shaped, easy to play, and produce a clear tone are very precious.
I found only a few after searching for several hours.
When I was a beginner, I was able to produce sound from the hole after about 30 minutes of practice.
After further practice, I was able to produce a very beautiful, clear, high-pitched sound smoothly.
I am listing stone flutes that produce good tones, but it may take a little practice to get the knack at first.
That too is an enjoyable process.
A removable sticker indicates the direction for the best sound. Please cover the through hole with your finger.
It seems that the sound becomes easier to produce when submerged in water. You can also refer to YouTube for playing techniques.

Please check the photos for dimensions (width, depth, height) and other characteristics of the stone flute.

After collecting them, I visited a shrine famous as a power spot and prayed with the stone flutes. (Shown in the photos)
They were soaked in fresh water for one week, carefully washed one by one with a scrub brush, then soaked again in spring water from the shrine for one week, and finally sun-dried.

Please understand that some may still contain residual debris or shells.
After listing, they are stored in plastic bags in a dark place, but please wash them once before use.

They will be thoroughly disinfected before packing.

They will be carefully sent to you, wrapped in bubble wrap with waterproofing measures.

I will send them with all my heart, hoping they become your favorite stone flute...♡
