Shinobue Flute, Shishida-ryu Take-mizu, 6 Holes, 8-Hon Choshi, Tenchi Toukan (Vine Winding)

This is a 8-hole, 6-finger hole Shinobue flute in the Shishida style, made of bamboo water, with vine binding and a natural finish. This Shinobue flute in the Shishida style was crafted by Mr. Chuichi Ito of the Ito Chikan Gakki Seisakusho, who inherited the Shishida style from a flute maker from the late Edo period. It was made in the late Showa period, making it over 40 years old. The bamboo is well-dried, giving it a mature, natural color, and the sound quality and tone are excellent, resulting in a superb instrument. This is a one-of-a-kind flute in the world!!
