This is a high-end DAC/streamer/preamp/balanced headphone amplifier, comparable to a domestic retail price of ¥400,000 (list price $3,000). Equipped with the flagship DAC chip ESS ES9038PRO and Crystek's femtosecond clock, it boasts overwhelming resolution and spatial representation.
Used only in a dedicated audio room with no smoking or pets.
The exterior is like new with no noticeable scratches, and all operations are extremely good.

I was using Roon with a setup centered around canarino fills, using Silent Switch OCXO and JCAT card.
I was very satisfied with the extremely high resolution and clear sound of the ESS series, but I am selling it to fund the purchase of a discrete R-2R DAC (analog-like sound) that I want to try.
