MO Drive COPAL CS-M120MW

External MO drive.

COPAL CS-M120MW
SCSI connection

Currently operating with a 128MB media on an X68030.
Based on the model number, it is likely compatible with up to 128MB.

The spring for the front cover is no longer functional, so the cover remains open.

Comes as a set with one SCSI cable and one 128MB disk (MITSUBISHI KASEI).

No SCSI terminator is included, but it is operational. A terminator may be necessary depending on your usage environment.

If you format the media with FORMAT.X on an X68030, it can be used as a boot disk.

The included disk is formatted in super floppy format on Windows XP and can be shared between Windows and X68030. It can be read and written on Windows 10 with an IDE connected MO drive. It has not been tested on Windows 11 machines as they lack an IDE interface.

A note on usage with X68030: If you insert media during startup, or access it with commands like DIR while the red light is on after inserting media, it may take time to recognize or may not be recognized at all.
