Swing En Long (Expert)
This is a long-sized version of our popular fluoropolymer roller swivel yase, designed to target larger horse mackerel in the spring.
We've made it about 3cm longer than previous yase and reinforced it.
Usage varies by individual, so please consider your own needs when using it.
We've received requests for a longer yase for a while, and we apologize for the long wait.
(Please be sure to read our profile before use, as using this yase with the conventional understanding of yase may result in failure for both beginners and experienced anglers.)
Made with ultra-hard stainless steel 1.2mm
Weight approx. 15g Length approx. 39cm For horse mackerel around 20cm
(Features)
① Even if you don't know when the yase reaches the squid, it will immediately spring up upon arrival.
The advantage is that the probability of hooking the squid before it escapes, even before it has taken the bait, is high, making it easier for beginners to fish (provided the squid is holding the bait vertically).
When it reaches the squid, the main body at the first anchor point springs up like a swing (jumps forward), leaving the second and third anchor points on the fishing line.
Unlike conventional spring-up mechanisms, there is no loss in lifting the hook, and the forward speed, weight of the yase, and water pressure during retrieval all contribute to the spring-up force.
(Once it reaches the squid, you will retrieve it while maintaining the sprung-up state by loosening the line with a three-point yase using a yase stopper.)
② The fluoropolymer large roller provides excellent slip and quietness, eliminating the need to loosen the line and feed the yase, making it less likely to startle the squid and effective for offshore hooking.
③ The hook is custom-shaped from ultra-hard stainless steel, designed for a wide catching range, sharpness, and depth. It has no barbs (only the third barb is a commercially available barb).
④ For night fishing, a phosphorescent sticker is applied to the rear fin to make it less visible to the squid. It glows sufficiently for the duration of the fight after being exposed to light for 30 seconds or more.
⑤ If the yase reaches the squid without a yase stopper, it is designed to instantly spring up and hook into the body. If a stopper is used, it will interfere with the spring-up action near the angler.
General yase hooks are designed to catch the squid's legs when striking or when the horse mackerel is released, but this yase is designed to hook the squid in its large body or behind the eyes.
(Notes)
① We kindly ask that those seeking perfection or who are overly sensitive refrain from purchasing.
② The strength is not as high as commercially available products, and there may be distortion in the hooks, etc. Please correct this yourself if it occurs.
③ Please note that we do not accept price reductions or bulk sales.
