Vintage Lord of the Rings Chess Set (with Folding Board) featuring 32 LOTR Characters in Antique Bronze and Bone Effect.
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Movie characters are featured in 32 chess pieces made of heavy, weighted molded plastic with an antique bronze and ancient bone-like effect, and a folding chess board from 2003.
The board measures 14.5 inches x 18.5 inches, with the playing area being approximately 14 inches square. The King stands approximately 3.5 inches tall. All 32 pieces are accounted for.
This playset is in unused vintage condition. The box has been opened as it was taped when sold, but the chess pieces have not been unboxed. As is natural for this vintage item, the box has minor shelf wear from storage.
Purchased during a trip to New Zealand in 2003. It has been stored since then and is in beautiful condition. Please purchase with the understanding that this is a very old item.
No returns/no refunds, please.
