The angular handle and unusual open geometric lid finial are particularly characteristic of the Art Deco period. This is an Antique unmarked European porcelain coffeepot, circa 1920s–1940s, elaborately hand decorated with polychrome floral/geometric motifs, stylized flowers, foliage caterpillar/insect-like motifs, large geometric colored panels, with heavy gilt.
