Two-piece obi, brick red base
I'm not very knowledgeable about kimonos, so there might be some inaccuracies in my description. This is a two-piece obi, likely from the Showa era. It shows signs of use, so it would be great for practice, everyday wear, or for repurposing into items like bags. The base color is brick red, with yellow and yellow-green stripes running vertically and horizontally. Rabbit patterns are woven into the fabric. Body wrap section: Length 222cm (longest side) Only the tip is sewn into a half-width style, and the rest is adjustable in width. However, there are distinct fold marks on the half-width section. Otaiko (drum knot) section: Length 88cm (measured after straightening into a rectangle) It is doubled for about 56cm. The hanging part (tare) shows signs of use (fading). There are no noticeable stains, but it has a dusty smell from being stored in a closet for a long time. There are strong fold marks on the half-width section, and faint dirt along these folds. It's not very noticeable due to the dark base color. Please purchase with the understanding that this is an old item.
